About
The people behind your countertops.
At the heart of DBC Surfaces is David Byrne, a cabinetmaker certified by the Irish trades board who trained in traditional and modern European furniture and kitchen design before bringing that craft to British Columbia. From the shop in Richmond, he and his team handle every stage of the work themselves, from templating to installation.
David brings over 20 years of experience in advanced solid surface fabrication: seamless joins, thermoforming, integrated sinks, and the on-site repairs most local shops won't take on. He founded DBC Surfaces in 2017, and today the work runs from home kitchens to BC's hospitals, ferries, transit, and airport, serving the Lower Mainland and across BC.
The mission hasn't changed since day one: fabrication at the highest standard for retailers and end customers alike, without abandoning affordable pricing.
